Wisconsin has surpassed 3 million people who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, but that news comes as cases continue to increase and more deaths are reported. The state’s Department of Health Services Thursday reported 2,370 new cases and 11 more deaths due to the virus. The 7-day rolling average for new cases increased to 1,744. Meanwhile the death toll during the pandemic now stands at 7,638 lives lost. The state also reported 106 new hospitalizations. The Wisconsin Hospital Association says 976 people are hospitalized across the state with the coronavirus and 302 patients are in intensive care units.

Winnebago County reported 65 new COVID-19 cases Thursday. Sixty-one new cases were recorded in Fond du Lac County and Dodge County had 35 new cases. Green Lake County reported 9 new cases yesterday, Waupaca County 25 new cases, and Waushara County had 6 new cases.
