Bicyclist Killed In Dodge County Accident

Struck during an accident at the intersection of Dodge County Highway AW and East Rock River Road in the Town of Trenton a bicyclist died at a Madison Hospital Monday. Sheriff’s officials say the 88-year-old bicyclist was heading south on East Rock River Road Sunday afternoon approaching the stop sign at the intersection and a pickup truck was heading east on County Highway AW. The bicycle entered the intersection and was trying to turn left or east on AW and was struck by the pickup. The bicyclist was taken to Waupun Memorial Hospital and was flown to the U-W Hospital in Madison dying there the next day.
