Wisconsin passed another milestone in its battle against the COVID-19 virus Monday surpassing 6 million doses of vaccine given out over the last 36 weeks. That includes 3.1 million that have received at least one dose of the vaccine and 2.9 million that have completed their series of shots. Meanwhile in Oshkosh Monday Governor Tony Evers announced that through Labor Day anyone receiving their first shot of COVID vaccine will receive a $100 Visa gift card. It was also announced that the Pfizer vaccine has full FDA approval, the first of the vaccines to get that approval. Since Friday the state’s Department of Health Services reports 2,935 new COVID-19 cases and 5 more deaths.

Winnebago County Monday reported 85 new cases of COVID-19.  Fifty-two new cases were recorded in Fond du Lac County since last Friday and Dodge County had 62 new cases. Green Lake County reported 6 new cases, Waupaca County 26 new cases, and Waushara County 3 new cases.
