Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services says the 7-day rolling average for new COVID-19 cases has increased to 193 per day, that’s compared to a low of 69 cases per day on June 21st. Tuesday saw 450 new cases or 8.3 percent of the 5,449 test results that came back. Nine deaths were also reported bringing the death toll since the pandemic began to 7,383 lives lost. Fifty-six more people were hospitalized. The Wisconsin Hospital Association says there are 144 COVID patients in state hospitals with 40 of them in intensive care units.
Winnebago County saw 21 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday. Three new cases were reported in Fond du Lac County and Dodge County had 10 new cases. Three new cases were recorded in Green Lake County and 1 new case in Waupaca County. Waushara County had no new cases of the coronavirus.
