Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services says COVID-19 activity is high in 15 counties including Dodge County. High activity means at least 30.4 positive tests per 100,000 in population, and a case increase of 128 percent or more from the previous two-week period. But the state is also reporting a surge of activity in people completing their series of vaccinations for the virus. The state also reported 201 new coronavirus cases on Thursday with the 7-day rolling average at 138 new cases daily. One death was reported putting the death toll since the pandemic began at 7,366 lives lost.

Two new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Winnebago County Thursday. Four new cases were recorded in Fond du Lac County and Dodge County had two new cases. No new cases were reported in Green Lake, Waupaca County had 5 new cases and Waushara County had one.
