Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services reported 203 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday increasing the 7-day rolling average for new cases from 114 to 138 cases a day the highest average since the first week of June. Three more deaths were also reported increasing the death toll since the pandemic began to 7,360 lives lost in the state. Eighteen more people were hospitalized with the coronavirus. The Wisconsin Hospital Association reports 100 COVID patients in the state’s hospitals with 30 of those people in intensive care units.
Winnebago County recorded 8 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday. No new cases were reported in Fond du Lac, Waupaca and Waushara counties. Five new cases were recorded in Dodge County and two new cases in Green Lake County.
