Teen Arrested Following Early Morning Chase

An 18-year-old Fond du Lac man is facing multiple charges following a 6.5 mile chase with Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputies early Sunday morning. It began on Winnebago Drive at Prairie Road in the Town of Fond du Lac when a deputy tried to pull over a speeding vehicle. During the pursuit tire deflation devices were successfully deployed deflating both tires on the driver’s side of the suspect vehicle and a deputy had to use a maneuver to get the vehicle to stop. The suspect was caught during a short foot chase at the conclusion of the vehicle pursuit. Two Sheriff’s cruisers and the suspect’s vehicle were damaged during the chase, but no one was injured.
