FDL County OWI Injury Crash

A 20-year-old Sheboygan man is being held in the Fond du Lac County Jail for allegedly causing a two-vehicle crash while driving under the influence. The man fled from the scene on foot and Sheriff’s deputies had to use a drone equipped with thermal imaging to locate him in a wooded marsh area after the crash. The county communications center got a 911 call just before 5:30 Monday evening reporting a two vehicle crash at County Highway W and Woodland Drive in the Town of Ashford. The man was driving one of two vehicles following each other when he missed a turn and tried to pull a U-turn causing the crash. Four people were hurt in the collision. He’s also facing a resisting an officer charge and is being held on a probation hold.
