Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services says the 7-day average for new COVID-19 cases continues to decline. There were 260 people who tested positive for the virus in the latest batch of test results, but the 7-day average for new cases fell from 140 to 133. Meanwhile the 7-day average for new deaths is at 3 lives lost. The Wisconsin Hospital Association reports 170 coronavirus patients in the state’s 136 hospitals with 70 in intensive care units.
Winnebago County reported 11 new COVID-19 cases and 1 death Monday. Seven new cases were reported in Fond du Lac County since Monday and during that same time span Dodge County had 3 new cases. Two new cases were reported in Green Lake County, 3 in Waupaca County, and 1 new case was recorded in Waushara County.
