Motorcyclist Leads Dodge County Authorities On Separate Pursuits

A man responsible for two separate traffic pursuits in northeastern Dodge County and at least one other crime was eventually captured after crashing his motorcycle in the City of Fond du Lac Monday afternoon. It began shortly before 12:30 pm when a number of Lomira residents flagged down a Dodge County Sheriff’s sergeant telling the sergeant a man with a motorcycle was on their property claiming to be running from police. A rural Leroy resident also reported the man stole their property threatening to use force if they called 911. Two separate pursuits were cut off one as the motorcyclist entered Fond du Lac County, but he crashed his bike in Fond du Lac and was eventually captured inside a business. He is currently being held in the Dodge County Jail on a probation hold with other charges pending the outcome of an investigation.
