Burglars Pose As Power Company Workers

The Dodge and Jefferson County Sheriff’s Offices are looking for two suspects posing as local power company workers while committing burglaries. There was an attempted burglary in Dodge County’s Town of Ashippun and three burglaries in Jefferson County. While one of the men distracts the homeowners by getting them to walk the property line the other enters the home and steals items. They are driving a white Chevy truck with blue decals on the doors and toolboxes on the back. The suspects are in their 30s, 5 foot 9 to 6 feet tall with dark hair and acnes scars on their face. One may speak with a Spanish accent. Sheriff’s official recommend asking for identification if someone approaches your door claiming to be with a company you received no prior notification from.
