Tractor Accidentally Runs Over Child

A 2-year-old child was seriously injured after falling off of a tractor and being run over by it Wednesday afternoon in Fond du Lac County. Sheriff’s officials say the toddler was riding on a southbound Kubota Tractor on Hickory Road in the Town of Byron when the tractor hit a bump in the roadway causing the child to fall off and be run over by the tractor. The child was flown to Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee. The 38-year-old Fond du Lac woman driving the tractor and another child passenger were not injured. The accident was reported just before 3 pm.
