Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services Wednesday reported state vaccinators have now administered over 4.5 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines. More than 2.5 million or 43.7 percent of the state’s population have received at least one shot in the arm and 35.3 percent are fully vaccinated. Meanwhile 639 new cases were reported yesterday or 12.7 percent of the 5,026 test results that came back. The state also reported 13 more deaths to put the death toll from the pandemic at 6,863 people.
Winnebago County reported 12 new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday. Ten new cases were recorded in both Fond du Lac and Dodge counties. No new cases were reported in Green Lake County and 3 new cases in Marquette County. Waupaca County had 1 new case and 1 death and Waushara County had 3 new cases.
