Wisconsin Department of Health Services officials say as of Sunday more than 2 million state residents are now fully immunized against the COVID-19 virus. That represents 34.5 percent of the state’s population. State health officials also reported 405 new cases of the coronavirus or 9.43 percent of the 4,631 test results that came back. The state also revised the death toll by two Sunday, lowering it to 6,839 total deaths since the pandemic began.
Winnebago County reported no new COVID-19 cases Sunday. Fond du Lac County also had no new cases and Dodge County recorded 1 new case. Three new cases were reported in Green Lake County and 1 new case in Marquette County. Three new cases were recorded in Waupaca County and Waushara County had 1 new case.
