Theft Suspect Gets Caught Returning To The Scene Of The Crime

Fond du Lac County Sheriff Ryan Waldschmidt says a 32-year-old man suspected of vehicle entries in the St. Peter area was arrested early Saturday morning. Working on a hunch that the thief would return to the scene of the crime a deputy stopped a suspicious vehicle and a number of items inside it matched the description of items taken from vehicles in the area early Friday morning. The suspect was taken into custody on numerous warrants. Victims will be notified if items recovered from the suspect’s vehicle matches descriptions of what was taken from their vehicles.
