A 29-year-old Oshkosh man is in critical condition and a 45-year-old Oshkosh man is in custody for allegedly trying to kill him. Oshkosh Police responded to the 900 block of Greenwood Court Tuesday night where they found the victim with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital. The suspect was arrested later the same evening on an attempted first degree intentional homicide charge. Police say the victim and suspect have mutual acquaintances.

Oshkosh Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in the 900 block of Greenwood Court in the city last night about 6:30 pm. When officers arrived they found a man who had suffered a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment. No one else was injured during the incident. More information is expected to be released today. Anyone with information about the shooting is encouraged to call Oshkosh Police at 920-236-5700.
