State health officials say there were 399 new COVID-19 cases Sunday or just under 10 percent of the 4,071 test results that came back. It was the second day in a row that the state reported fewer than 600 new cases dropping the 7-day average to 603 new cases. The Department of Health Services also revised the death toll adjusting it down by one case to 6,756 deaths. Forty-two people were hospitalized. The Wisconsin Hospital Association reports 350 COVID patients in the state’s 136 hospitals with 113 in intensive care units.
Winnebago County reported 2 new COVID-19 cases Sunday. Six new cases were reported in Fond du Lac County and 2 new cases in Dodge County. Green Lake, Marquette, and Waushara counties had no new cases to report. Waupaca County recorded 4 new cases.
