FDL Man Found Guilty Of Charges In Drug Related Shooting
17 April 2021 News
A Fond du Lac County jury Friday found a 33-year-old Fond du Lac man guilty of 14 charges stemming from the shooting of two people at a Fond du Lac apartment building. Delaney Watt faced multiple charges stemming from a drug-related beef he had with a tenant at an apartment at 130 Forest Avenue in Fond du Lac in September of 2018. He was allegedly firing a handgun at that man when he shot a 17-year-old girl and 26-year-old man. The girl was shot in the back and the man was paralyzed as a result of the shooting. Watt faces a potential maximum penalty of over 200 years in prison and 70 years of extended supervision. District Attorney Eric Toney says Watt committed a brazen act of violence showing no regard for human life.
