Two Arrested Following Early Morning Chase In FDL County

Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputies arrested two men early this morning following a 5 mile chase on Interstate 41 in the Town of Eldorado. A Sheriff’s deputy tried to pull a vehicle over for an equipment violation on I-41 at Townline Road just before 12:30 this morning, but the vehicle took off after the deputy activated lights and sirens. Eventually the vehicle pulled over. The driver a 33-year-old Oshkosh man was cited for speeding and operating after revocation and faces criminal charges of eluding, possession of methamphetamine, and felony bail jumping. His passenger a 30-year-old Menasha man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and felony bail jumping. North Fond du Lac Police and the State Patrol assisted the Sheriff’s Office during the pursuit. No one was injured and no property was damaged.
