Body Found In Search For Missing FDL Men

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Dive Team and the DNR using sonar was able to locate the body of one of the two Fond du Lac men that went missing on Lake Winnebago Monday night. The body was turned over to investigators from the Medical Examiner’s Office. They will work with family to confirm the identity of the victim. A search for the second victim will continue today. Dakota Goldapske and Michael Gohde were canoeing when high winds and waves swamped their canoe. One of them was able to call 911, which allowed authorities to locate the area they were in, but the signal died.
