Two Arrested After Chase And Crash In Town And City Of Ripon

Two people from the Green Bay area will be facing charges for a high-speed chase that began in the Town of Ripon late Monday morning and concluded when they crashed into a pickup truck in Ripon. The chase began when a Town of Ripon police officer tried to pull over a speeding vehicle on Highway 44. Police say it continued into the City of Ripon where the vehicle was going too fast to negotiate a corner and crashed into the pickup truck. No weapons were drawn during the incident. The 20-year-old man driving the vehicle and his passenger a 17-year-old girl were both arrested. Police are expected to file fleeing charges and more could come with the recovery of contraband in the vehicle.
