COVID Vaccine Milestone Reached In Wisconsin

Wisconsin passed a milestone Monday with more than 1 million people fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus. Department of Health Services officials say over 1.7 million residents have received at least one dose of a coronavirus vaccine. Also yesterday the state reported fewer than 300 new COVID cases for the first time in two weeks. Health officials say there were 296 new cases or 9.3 percent of the 3,183 test results that came back. The state also reported 3 deaths bringing the death toll since the pandemic began to 6,601 people.
Winnebago County reported 22 new COVID-19 cases Monday. Fond du Lac County recorded 7 new cases since last Friday bringing its total cases since the health crisis began to 12,005. Three new cases were reported in Dodge County. No new cases were reported in Green Lake, Marquette, Waupaca and Waushara counties.
