Andrew Christenson Runs For FDL County Judge
22 March 2021 News
Fond du Lac County Judge candidate Andrew Christenson says his whole legal career has been about protecting the public’s safety. The former Green Lake County District Attorney says becoming judge is another way to achieve that. He feels judges are tasked with interpreting the law not legislating from the bench. The Fond du Lac native says the role of a district attorney is quasi-judicial because you have to decide which cases to prosecute. But he’s had prosecutorial experience as both a district attorney and as an assistant district attorney. “I’ve had the opportunity to prosecute a wide range of cases from intentional homicide to sexual assault, robbery, drug delivery, burglary and repeat drunk driving. I love public service my entire legal career has focused on pursuing community safety.” You can find out more about his candidacy at his website christenson4judge.com.
