The state’s Department of Health Services Monday reported nearly 300 new COVID-19 cases. The 294 cases were nearly 13 percent of the 2,289 test results that came back. The state reported no new deaths keeping the death toll at 6,536 people. Over 2 million people in the state have received at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine and more than 700,000 have completed their vaccine series. Thirty more people were hospitalized with COVID. The Wisconsin Hospital Association reported 214 patients in the state’s hospitals with 57 in intensive care units.
Winnebago County reported 26 new COVID-19 cases Monday. Fond du Lac County had 17 new cases since last Friday and Dodge County had 6 new cases over that time span. No new cases were reported in Green Lake County yesterday and there was 1 new case in Marquette County. No new cases were reported in Waupaca and Waushara counties.
