FDL County Pole Shed Fire

Fire destroyed a pole shed in Fond du Lac County’s Town of Springvale Friday afternoon. The Rosendale Fire Department, First Responders, and Sheriff’s deputies responded to the blaze at N6647 Highway 26 just after 4:30 pm. The homeowner was burning grass outside of the 40 by 80-foot structure when it spread to the pole shed. The Rosendale Fire Department quickly brought the fire under control, but the pole shed was a complete loss. Two hay wagons and a corn planter inside the shed were also destroyed by the fire. The incident is not considered suspicious. Fire departments from Lamartine, Eldorado, and Brandon-Fairwater assisted at the scene. The property is owned by David Duve of Rosendale.
