NFDL Man’s Disappearance Added To Federal Website

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office is getting some federal help in a cold case involving the disappearance of a 40-year-old North Fond du Lac man. James Ruhland was last seen hitchhiking on October 26th, 1995. Nine days later his sister reported him missing. The FBI has added Ruhland to its Violent Criminal Apprehension Program or sometimes known as ViCAP website. The post includes his picture and information about his disappearance. His family is offering a $15,000 reward for information leading to the resolution of the investigation and in bringing him home. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office anonymous tip line at 920-906-4777 or Detective LaMotte at 920-929-3377.
