State health officials reported no new deaths from COVID-19 Sunday, the first time in months. The death toll since the pandemic began in the state stands at 6,284 people. Meanwhile 403 people tested positive for the coronavirus or 9.45 percent of the 4,265 test results that came back. Twenty-seven people were hospitalized Sunday with the virus. The Wisconsin Hospital Association says there are 347 COVID-19 patients in the state’s hospitals with 83 in intensive care units.
Winnebago County reported 1 new COVID-19 case Sunday. No new cases were reported in Fond du Lac County and 1 in Dodge County. No new cases were also reported in Green Lake and Marquette counties. Three new cases were reported in Waupaca County and no new cases were recorded in Waushara County.
