Congressman Grothman On Second Trump Impeachment Attempt
Congressman Glenn Grothman says U.S. Senators could have been more productive rather than put former President Donald Trump through a second impeachment trial. Senators voted to acquit. Grothman says President Trump was advocating for a peaceful protest. “President Trump did ask for a peaceful protest, but he said it was a peaceful protest and really at the end of the day it wasn’t as bad as what we saw last year in Minneapolis, Kenosha, Portland and Seattle.” He says a few Republicans voted for impeachment, but he believes the GOP will come back from that and unify.
Allergic Reactions To COVID Vaccine Rare
Two members of the Ripon Community COVID-19 Task Force say allergic reactions to the COVID vaccine are extremely rare. Jeff Puhlmann-Becker says out of the 2 million doses administered of the two approved vaccines 7 people have suffered allergic reactions. “What they are saying right now is 5 cases in a million with the Pfizer and 2 ½ cases in a million with Moderna extremely rare. If you are one of those five or one of those 2 ½ people, if there is such a thing as 2 ½ people, it is a concern for you.” He says still it is better than suffering the worst of the symptoms for the coronavirus. Meanwhile Robin Wolzenburg who also works for LeadingAge Wisconsin a senior citizen advocacy agency says only two residents of the long-term care facilities that received the vaccine have suffered an allergic reaction.
