Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services reported 543 new COVID-19 cases Monday or 14.6 percent of the 3,718 test results that came back. Fifty-four of the state’s 72 counties had new cases. It was the third straight day and fourth time this month the state had fewer than 1,000 new cases of the coronavirus. One person died bringing the death toll since the pandemic began to 6,055 people. The state also reported 34 people were hospitalized with COVID symptoms. The Wisconsin Hospital Association says 572 people across the state are hospitalized with the virus and 134 patients are in intensive care.

Winnebago County reported 11 new COVID-19 cases Monday. Fond du Lac County has reported 37 new cases since last Friday and Dodge County had 31 new cases over the same period. No new cases were recorded in Green Lake County and Marquette County had 1. Six new cases were reported in Waupaca County and the Waushara County Health Department says it has had 4 new cases since last Friday.
