COVID 19 Report Wednesday

Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services reported 1,177 new COVID 19 cases Wednesday. That was just over 20 percent of the 5,866 test results the state received, but was below the 7-day average of 1,270 new cases per day. Fourteen more deaths were reported, which was also below the 7-day average of 23, but brought the death toll to 5,951 people. The state also reported 94 new hospital admissions for the coronavirus. The Wisconsin Hospital Association says 637 people are hospitalized with the virus the fewest since September 27th with 173 patients in ICU.

Winnebago County reported 18 new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday and one death. Fond du Lac County saw an uptick with 30 new cases and Dodge County had 10 new cases. Five new cases were reported in Green Lake County, while Marquette County had 7 new cases and one death. Fourteen new cases were recorded in Waupaca County and the Waushara County Health Department says it had 5 new cases and one death.
