Security For Inauguration Should Be Plenty
Congressman Glenn Grothman says he’s certain there will be enough security at the U.S. Capitol for President-elect Biden’s Inauguration on Wednesday. The federal lawmaker from Glenbeulah says when he left Washington, D.C. last Thursday there was already a heavy presence of National Guard troops. “You can always trust on the government they will never underreact to anything. When I left Washington on I believe it was Thursday night there were already National Guard folks everywhere I mean you’d think we were going to be invaded by Cuba or something or other.” He says more is being spent on the security for the inauguration than they should. Grothman wasn’t sure if he would be attending the inauguration because he’s not sure if he can be tested for COVID-19 in time.

The latest portable ventilator came through a donation from the Federal Government and compliments one purchased by the Ripon Medical Center Auxiliary last year. “And it gives us the tools to be able to deliver different levels of oxygen depending on what the need is. So it is one of those things that during COVID between the ventilators and the BiPaP that’s been the reason we are able to keep people from becoming to acute.” She says having a second portable ventilator they can move around is a wonderful resource for a small hospital to have.
