High Speed Pursuit In The Town Of Rosendale

Three men from Illinois are facing charges following a high-speed pursuit in on State Highway 26 in Fond du Lac County’s Town of Rosendale early Sunday morning. A Sheriff’s deputy tried to pull over a vehicle for speeding near Olden Road at 1:46 am. The driver increased his speed and fled south. Tire deflation devices caused the vehicles tires to come apart and as it exited Highway 26 at Highway 151 in Dodge County it went into a ditch and crashed. The driver, a 25-year-old man fled on foot, but was caught a short time later. The passengers, Two 27-year-old-men, stayed in the vehicle. The driver is facing multiple charges including OWI-first and felony fleeing charges. The two passengers are both facing marijuana possession charges. No one was hurt during the chase, which covered 19.5 miles and reached speeds of 109 miles an hour.
