Fatal Accident In Waupaca County

One person was killed and three people were injured in a four-vehicle crash on Highway 45 at Hilltop Road in Waupaca County’s Town of Larabee New Year’s Eve. Sheriff’s officials say it happened when a southbound SUV crossed into the northbound lanes where it struck a pickup truck head on then two more vehicles. The driver of the SUV died at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck and a passenger and a passenger in one of the other vehicles were taken to a hospital for treatment of their injuries. The accident was reported at 7:29 Thursday evening.
