Fire On Cork Street Road In Ripon
1 January 2021 News
Fire damaged a barn or pole-style building on a farm at W13257 Cork Street Road in Ripon Wednesday night. Ripon Area Fire District Deputy Chief Mark Sabel says the call at 9:39 pm originated as a piece of equipment that was on fire in the building. He says a skid loader had been used earlier for snow removal and it caught on fire also igniting several round bales of hay in the building. No one was injured and no livestock was lost. Fire departments from Markesan, Brandon-Fairwater, and Princeton also responded. Also at the scene were Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputies, Town of Ripon Police, and Ripon Guardian Ambulance. Firefighters were on the scene for about 2 ½ hours
