Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services reported 1,335 new cases of COVID-19 Monday or about 26 percent of the 5,171 test results that came back yesterday. The 14-day average for new cases has declined to 2,376. Meanwhile 19 more people died from the coronavirus bringing the death toll in the state to 4,711. Eighty-two people were hospitalized on Monday with 1,113 currently hospitalized and 237 patients are in ICU battling the virus.
Winnebago County reported 15 new COVID-19 cases yesterday. Fond du Lac County updated its numbers and had 188 new cases since its latest report last Wednesday and 2 additional deaths. Dodge County has had 56 new cases since last Friday. Green Lake and Marquette County had no new coronavirus cases Monday. Waupaca County also reported no new cases. Waushara County Public Health officials say since their latest report last Tuesday they have recorded 17 new COVID cases.
