Wisconsin Air National Guard Pilot Killed In Crash Identified

The Wisconsin Air National Guard Friday identified the pilot killed in an F-16 crash in the Hiawatha National Forest in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Thirty-seven-year-old Captain Dunwood “Hawk” Jones of Albuquerque, New Mexico was killed in a crash in Delta County during a training mission last Tuesday. Jones was a decorated combat veteran who leaves behind a wife and two small children. Governor Tony Evers has ordered United States and state of Wisconsin flags to flown at half-staff until sunset Friday out of respect for Captain Jones.
