The Green Bay Packers signed S Henry Black to the active roster from the practice

squad and signed C Anthony Fabiano to the practice squad. The transactions were

announced Tuesday by General Manager Brian Gutekunst. Black has spent the entire season on Green Bay’s practice squad, appearing in four games as a gameday elevation. He has three tackles (all solo), a forced fumble and four special teams tackles. Fabiano (6-4, 302) was originally signed by the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Harvard in 2016. He has played in nine career games with two starts. In 2017, Fabiano appeared in five games with one start for the Indianapolis Colts and in 2016 he played in four games with one start for the

Cleveland Browns. He will wear No. 61 for the Packers.

The Green Bay Packers have formally announced that only Packers employees and their immediate household family members will be able to attend the rest of the team’s home games during the 2020 season.  Tuesday’s decision came after the team consulted with local healthcare and public health officials.  According to team officials, infection rates in Brown County and in many areas in Wisconsin are improving, the overall rate remains at a high level, and is the fourth highest among NFL cities. In addition, they cited hospitalizations and deaths remain at high levels both locally and across the state. The team also said with the holiday season approaching, officials are concerned the rate may spike again. About 500 employees and their immediate household family members had been in attendance the past two home games to test COVID-19 safety protocols at Lambeau Field. The announcement comes one day after a source with knowledge on the game attendee situation said there would “most likely” be fans at the final two home games in December. Team officials say the approach to any potential home playoff game or games will be decided later, however they didn’t specify an exact date.

The Packers are back on the practice field today getting ready for Lions on Sunday in Detroit.  Green Bay is 9-3 while the Lions are 5-7 and tied with the Bears for third in the NFC North behind the 6-6 Vikings.   You can hear all of the action on Sunday beginning with the pregame at 1:00 and the kickoff at  3:25 on FM 102.3FM, WAUH.

Week 13 of the NFL season finally ended last night in Baltimore as the Ravens beat the Dallas Cowboys 34-17.   Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson got off to a bit of a slow start but then after an interception, ripped off a 37-yard touchdown on a fourth-and-two to get Baltimore going in the first quarter. The Cowboys led 10-7 at the end of the first quarter but the Ravens took a 17-10 lead into the locker room at halftime and increased the lead to 24-10 after three quarters.  Besides his first-quarter touchdown run, Jackson would end up with 94 yards on 13 rushes while Gus Edwards would lead Baltimore with 101 yards on seven carries.   The Ravens would rush for 294 yards on the night.  Jackson was 12 of 17 through the air for 117 yards and two touchdowns. The Cowboys Andy Dalton was 31 of 48 for 285 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. Ezekiel Elliott rushed rushed for 77 yards on 18 carries. Baltimore moves to 7-5, good for third in the AFC North while Dallas drops to 3-9, good for last in the NFC East.

The Green Bay men’s basketball team played at Marquette Tuesday night  at the Fiserv Forum, with the Golden Eagles pulling away late for an 82-68 victory. PJ Pipes finished with 22 points for Green Bay. Koby  McEwen had 28 to pace Marquette.

The Milwaukee Bucks have signed guard Jaylen Adams and forward Mamadi Diakite to two-way contracts. Adams spent the most of 2019-20 with the Bucks’ G League affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd, where he was the NBA G League MVP runner-up and an All-NBA G League First Team selection after averaging 21.5 points, 5.7 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.8 steals over 33 games. After a stellar season in the G League, Adams was signed by the Trail Blazers for the NBA season restart in Orlando where he saw action in three playoff games. Diakite was a key player on Virginia’s 2019 national championship team. He made the memorable shot against Purdue in the Elite Eight to send the game into overtime, where the Cavaliers would eventually prevail. The 6-9 forward was an All-ACC second-team pick last season and an All-ACC defensive team selection. Last year, Diakite averaged a team-high 13.7 points to go along with 6.8 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game and he finished his career at Virginia ranked second all-time with 156 blocked shots.
