COVID 19 Report Tuesday
2 December 2020 News
Wisconsin set another grim daily record Tuesday as the state reported 107 deaths due to COVID-19. Deaths were reported in 42 of the state’s 72 counties as the death toll since the pandemic began reached 3,420 people. The new daily record also may be attributed in part to staff returning from the holiday to review death certificates. Meanwhile nearly 39 percent or 4,078 of the 10,492 test results that came back yesterday tested positive for the coronavirus. State health officials also reported 277 more people were hospitalized. The Wisconsin Hospital Association reports 1,827 people are currently hospitalized and of that 415 are patients in ICU.
