Two Injured In FDL House Fire

Update
Fond du Lac Fire Department officials say 5 people were living in the home that caught fire early Thursday morning. The house is divided into housing for four families. One person wasn’t at home when the blaze began. Two people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A third person was evaluated at the scene, but did not need to be taken to the hospital. The daughter of the one of the tenants reported two cats missing from a second floor apartment. The origin and cause of the fire at 159 West Arndt Street are still being investigated. There was extensive damage to the two-story wood frame home, which rendered it uninhabitable. The time of the fire call was 1:32 am.

Two people were taken to the hospital in Fond du Lac after an overnight house fire. Firefighters responded to the blaze at 159 West Arndt Street which broke out after midnight. The two victims suffered non-life threatening injuries. The fire caused extensive damage to the two-story home.
