Ballweg And Feyen Win Senate Seats

Joan Ballweg will be making the transition from the State Assembly to the State Senate after winning her race against challenger Joni Anderson Tuesday. Ballweg will represent the 14th State Senate succeeding Luther Olsen. “I think I will have the opportunity now to work with some the Senators to move forward on some of the policies I’ve been working on for the past several years.” Meanwhile Dan Feyen will continue representing the 18th State Senate District winning a second term against opponent Aaron Wojciechowski. It’s Feyen’s second term. He says former State Senator Rick Gudex originally encouraged him to run for the seat. Feyen got 59 percent of the vote in his race and Ballweg about 65 percent in hers.
