There were 60 fewer new COVID-19 cases in Wisconsin Monday than the day before, but the 3,433 new cases were nearly 39 percent of the 8,846 test results that came back which was more than double Sunday’s positivity rate of 19 percent. Since February 5th when testing began there have been 23,296 people that have tested positive for the coronavirus. Three more deaths were also reported bringing the death toll to 2,050 people. One hundred more people were hospitalized with 1,648 people hospitalized in the state, including 352 in intensive care units.

Winnebago County reported 83 new COVID-19 cases Monday, which raises its total number of cases since the pandemic began to 9,521 with 67 deaths. Since last Friday Fond du Lac County recorded 431 new cases and 1 additional death to put its totals at 5,383 total cases and 23 deaths. Dodge County had 391 new cases and 7 more deaths over the weekend to give it 4,844 total cases with 35 deaths. Green Lake County had 13 new cases and has had 828 total cases with 4 deaths. Seven new cases in Marquette County give it 712 total cases with 2 deaths. Waupaca County had 195 new cases over the weekend and 5 more deaths to put its totals at 2,793 cases and 59 deaths. Since last Friday the Waushara County Health Department has recorded 50 new COVID cases, which gives it 1,115 total cases and 5 deaths since the health crisis began.
