House Fire In The Town Of Friendship

Fire damaged a home in the Town of Friendship Saturday afternoon. Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s officials say no one was home at N8161 Lakeshore Drive during the blaze, which was restricted to a second-story bedroom. It’s believed negligent handling of smoking materials was responsible for the fire. There was significant smoke damage to the home. In addition to the Sheriff’s Department fire departments from Van Dyne, North Fond du Lac, Town of Fond du Lac and Eldorado responded to the fire. North Fond du Lac and City of Fond du Lac Ambulances also responded. The time of the fire call was 2:16 pm.
