Oshkosh Man Dies After Being Struck By Train

A 69-year-old Oshkosh man was killed after he was struck by a train while bicycling at the intersection of Washington Avenue and some train tracks in the City of Oshkosh Tuesday afternoon. Oshkosh Police say the man was heading east and was struck by a northbound train. He suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital where he died from those injuries. The accident was reported by a 911 caller at 4:19 pm. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Oshkosh Police Department at (920) 236-5700.
