Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported 3,626 new COVID-19 cases Sunday out of 14,022 test results that came back. Eight more deaths were also reported bringing the death toll since the pandemic began in Wisconsin to 1,778 people. The state is closing in on 200,000 total cases since the first in February with 198,166 people testing positive for the coronavirus. The Wisconsin Hospital Association reports 1,237 hospitalizations with 276 of those patients in intensive care.
Winnebago County reported 190 new COVID-19 cases and 1 new death Sunday putting its total cases at 8,471 with 56 deaths. Fond du Lac County has now reported 4,127 cases and 19 deaths. Dodge County had 145 new cases yesterday to give it 3,817 total cases with 27 deaths. Fourteen new cases were recorded in Green Lake County, which has 706 total cases and 2 deaths. Marquette County had 4 new COVID cases Sunday to give it 595 total cases with 2 deaths. Waupaca County entered the weekend with 2,303 total cases and 37 deaths. Waushara County had 17 new cases yesterday putting its total cases at 962 cases with 5 deaths since the health crisis began.
