Sixty-eight of Wisconsin’s 72 counties reported new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday. The state’s Department of Health Services says 2,319 new cases or 17.2 percent of the 13,507 test results that came back tested positive. Meanwhile there were 16 more deaths and a record 141 hospitalizations. The death toll in the state due to the coronavirus is 1,415 people. Yesterday also found 873 people currently hospitalized due to COVID and 219 of those are in intensive care.

Winnebago County reported 173 new COVID-19 cases and 1 death Wednesday putting its total cases at 5,508 and death toll at 38 people. Fond du Lac County recorded 89 new cases putting its total cases at 2,622 with 14 deaths. Dodge County had 42 new cases giving it 2,268 total cases and 19 deaths. Thirteen new cases were reported in Green Lake County, which gives the county 389 total cases. Marquette County had a dozen new cases increasing its total cases to 360 with 1 death.  Waupaca County reported 44 new cases putting its total cases at 1,502 with 22 deaths. Waushara County will move past 500 total coronavirus cases today. The 22 new cases it recorded yesterday give it 499 total cases with 3 deaths.
