Wisconsin passed another grim milestone Sunday with 1,665 new COVID-19 cases giving the state a total of 101,227 cases since the first case on February 5th. Yesterday’s new cases also marked the first time in four days the state did not report more than 2,000 new daily cases with just over 20 percent of the 8,320 tests coming back positive for the coronavirus. The state also reported 1 new death bringing that toll to 1,242 deaths since the outbreak began.
Winnebago County reported 97 new COVID-19 cases Sunday giving it a total of 2,693 cases and 23 deaths. Fond du Lac County reported 7 new cases bringing its total cases to 1,713 with 13 deaths. Dodge County reached 1,600 total cases with 27 new cases yesterday and has had 9 deaths. Nine new cases were reported in Green Lake County, which gives it a total of 195 cases. Fourteen new cases in Marquette County give it 190 cases with 1 death. Waupaca County reached 908 total COVID cases over the weekend and has had 20 deaths. Waushara County has reported 270 cases since the health crisis began and 2 deaths.
