Names Released In FDL Fatal Accident

The State Patrol has released the names of those involved in a fatal accident in Fond du Lac involving a city ambulance. A preliminary investigation showed that 28-year-old David Worley of Theresa drove his 2008 Ford Focus through a red light at the intersection of Johnson and Main Streets and struck the 2014 ambulance driven by 35-year-old Paul Wilson of Fond du Lac. Worley was trapped in the car and had to be extricated. He was flown to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah with life-threatening injuries. His passenger 21-year-old Jonathan Bruemmer of Fond du Lac was taken to St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac where he died of his injuries. Wilson and another ambulance crew member 42-year-old Brian Winter of Fond du Lac and a patient being transported in the ambulance 76-year-old Michael Bihss of Fond du Lac suffered non-life threatening injuries. All three were taken to St. Agnes Hospital. The crash happened about 4:25 Tuesday morning.
