For the fourth day in a row Wisconsin saw more than 1,000 new cases of COVID-19. State health officials say the 1,582 new cases reported Sunday was a new daily record and represented more than 20 percent of the 7,735 test results that came back. Only two of the state’s 72 counties, Bayfield and Pepin, didn’t see new cases yesterday. One new death was reported bringing that toll since the pandemic began to 1,210 state residents.

Winnebago County reported 70 new coronavirus cases Sunday leaving it four cases shy of a total of 2,000 cases and has had 22 deaths.  Fond du Lac County reported 42 new cases giving it 1,447 cases and 12 deaths. Twenty-seven new cases were reported in Dodge County raising its total number of cases to 1,416 with 8 deaths. Green Lake County recorded 5 new cases putting its total number of cases at 133. Marquette County had 10 new cases giving it a total of 146 cases with 1 death. Waupaca County started the weekend with 813 cases and 18 deaths.  Waushara County has reported 233 cases and 2 deaths.
