Wisconsin reported nearly 1,000 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday. The 981 new cases were 8.3 percent of the 11,844 test results that came back. The death toll also rose by 8 to 1,130 deaths since the outbreak began in early February. Fifty-eight of the state’s 72 counties reported new cases yesterday. The total number of cases in the Badger State since the pandemic began reached 76,584. There are still 7,534 active cases.

Winnebago County reported 27 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday bringing its total cases to 1,555 with 21 deaths. Twenty-six new cases were recorded in Dodge County, which has had 1,188 and 5 deaths. Fond du Lac County is reporting 16 new cases giving it 1,169 cases with 10 deaths.  Two new cases were reported in Green Lake County which now has 94 total cases. The state revised the number of cases reported in Marquette County which has 1 fewer or 90 cases with 1 death. Waupaca County is reporting 4 new cases giving it a total of 694 cases with 17 deaths. The Waushara County Health Department yesterday reported 9 new cases bringing its total cases to 171 with 2 deaths since the pandemic began.
