Wisconsin recorded 740 new COVID-19 cases Thursday or 7.5 percent of the 9,871 test results that came back. Though the percentage was slightly lower than the 7-day average of 8 percent the 14-day average is still on an upward trend. Fifty-four of the state’s 72 counties reported new cases of the coronavirus yesterday. Seven more deaths were also reported bringing the toll since the outbreak began to 1,067. Wisconsin has had 68,233 total cases and 8,072 of those are still active.

In Winnebago County 12 new cases of COVID-19 were reported Thursday putting the county’s total cases at 1,321 with 19 deaths. Dodge County could reach 1,000 total cases this weekend. The 15 new cases reported yesterday give it 982 cases with 5 deaths. Fond du Lac County continues to see daily double digit increases with 26 new cases Thursday giving it 855 total cases with 9 deaths. Two new cases were reported in Green Lake County, which has had 67 cases. Marquette County had no change with 81 total cases and 1 death.  Waupaca County had 11 new cases giving it 577 cases with 16 deaths.  The Waushara County Health Department reported 2 new cases giving it a total of 134 cases with 1 death since the health crisis began.
